I have just returned from my short three-day break to Madrid. It was my first time in the city and I loved it! I have been learning spanish over the past few years so felt it was the perfect opportunity to try it out.
We took a short local tour on our first morning and became pretty educated on both the history of Spain’s beautiful capital whilst working out were the best places were to visit for the rest of our stay.
We had a fairly typical visit, spending most our time eating churros, visiting the sights, shopping and trying everything in the busy markets. These are a few photos from the trip of places we visited and my favorite moments!
The Royal Palace Of Madrid
Parque Del Retrio
Views From The City Cable Car
Street View Of Local Restaurant
Mercado San Miguel (Chorizo Stall)
Local Iberian Ham Store
Iglesia De San Andrés
Sunday Market & Antique Area
Puerta Del Sol
The trip was truly made by the amazing food and atmosphere within the city. Next time I go to Madrid, I definitely want to see the Crystal Palace, watch a football match in the city and visit the Museo Sorolla!!
