Summer Festivals On The South Coast

Festival season is coming to an end and it therefore seems a good time to share my summer memories spent at both Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall and Victorious Festival in Portsmouth.

Boardmasters was amazing as the days were spent watching pro surf, skate and BMX competitions whilst the evenings were filled with music, good food and little sleep! Newquay, Cornwall is a beautiful destination with nearby sandy beaches and plenty of people. With performances from artists such as Two Door Cinema Club, Jamiroquai and Alt-J the weekend was filled with amazing music! We spent the mornings enjoying yoga sessions followed by surf lessons or chilled out meals enjoying the view and local artists.

I ended August at Victorious Festival where I was lucky enough to get access to the photo pits and backstage with my photographers pass. This was a new experience for me which I was crazy excited about! Being able to be meters away from acts such as Rita Ora, Madness, Stereophonics, Olly Murs and Jake Bug was a pretty surreal exsperience. This festival was also set right on the coast and made for a great setting and superb sunsets.

Though these were the only two festivals I made it to this summer, they were both amazing!!

Let me know what your favorite festivals and summer experiences were in the comments…
